18 SOUTH WILCOX STREET
Castle Rock, Colorado

This project is a 16,000 square-foot fully sprinkled two-story office building, with approximately 3,700 square feet of covered parking.  The building construction consists of a spread-footing foundation system, structural steel framing, and membrane roofing.  The exterior finish shows a south-facing serpentine wall with an aluminum curtain wall window system, composite panel system, and pre-cast concrete cornice and band.  Highlights of the interior finishes include a suspended stair system with steel tube stringers.  During site construction, an orphan 3000-gallon underground storage tank was discovered, and petroleum-impacted soil was confirmed on the site.  White Construction Group worked with Higgins and Associates to install 16 monitoring wells and removed approximately 150 yards of contaminated soil.  Under the direction of the Division of Oil and Public Safety, ongoing monitoring and remediation took place after the building was complete.
