2010 DESIGN-BUILD AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

 

Design Build 24,000 SF Child Development Center, received 2010 LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The facility includes administrative areas, commercial kitchen and activity areas for school age children. Building construction components included structural steel frame, metal stud exterior wall systems with masonry veneer and glass curtain wall and storefront systems designed to meet Department of Defense Anti-Terrorist Force Protection requirements. Site elements included parking and drive lanes designed and constructed to include safety and security requirements, playground areas  included play structures and play fields and site utilities including storm drainage, water service, electrical and telecommunications and sanitary sewer service.
