ROCKY MOUNTAIN SCHOOL OF EXPEDITIONARY LEARNING
Denver, Colorado

The Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning temporarily resided in a dated Denver school until it finally landed at the Ash Grove School. The Ash Grove School was a great location, but it was in desperate need of renovation. The building was a challenging project because it was an old, two-story school that had been constructed in four phases, all with brick exterior walls. White Construction Group added a new elevator tower and entry vestibule to enhance the schools appearance and entrance. Other improvements included new HVAC systems and distribution infrastructure, new lighting and finishes throughout the school. The Rocky Mountain Masonry Institute awarded a Citation Award for this project to the owner, architect, structural engineer, masonry contractor and supplier, and White Construction Group for Outstanding Achievement in Masonry Design.
